For a truly memorable experience for your users you must be prepared to go above and beyond simply sending out surveys, newsletters, and promotional emails. This blog looks at ways to build customer retention and therefore your brand by making user experience a very special thing indeed.
Here at Voova Digital many of our customers ask for help on this very topic. Our knowledgeable SEO marketers give advice and help on many SEO related problems including that of user experience.
In this blog we dispense some useful tips on this very subject, and perhaps some of these ideas will help you retain your customers and make them love you forever.
Use Social Media
There are tools freely available such as FullContact where you can run through the details of your customers and their social media accounts will appear for you to see. Then you can go on Facebook or Twitter and start to follow and interact with them.
You can see what they like and share with other people, then you too can add to your site similar things. One particular app that is really useful is InVision which allows you to share prototypes with customers. It shows that the company is really interacting with their clients, and points to questions such as, how can you really help your customers through the things that they are sharing?
Post Sale Monitoring
So after your customer has placed their order and received their goods what is the next step? Do you send post-sale emails or surveys to gauge their experiences? Is your follow up contact annoying or helpful to the customer? Will it ensure that they come back to you?
Your post-sale information may include vouchers or free white papers on issues you know that they are interested in. It might be that you send updates on similar products with comparison information.
Strong Content
The third way of improving customer experience is to ensure you have better content on your site than your competitors.
The focus on content at the moment is for new and fresh content, this is admirable but if the content you are filling your site up is not interesting, or influences the reader in some way then it is not worth publishing.
Perhaps some of your best performing content is old content, and a rehash of that would be far more valuable to you. Perhaps turn it into something that you can more easily share on social media, or take the gist of the blog and turn it into a video.
Just think of ways you can amplify and get the most out of your content, your customers should not just be inundated with marketing hype, as this really gets stale and boring. Your customers should be seeing all kind of messages from you over a wide platform.
If you are having difficulty understanding any of these concepts then you should perhaps contact Voova Digital and speak to our team. We can help to explain what the real value of customer experience is to your business.
